John Wayne Crandall
Born 3/17/2004. John was born with a Kidney function problem
He was placed on a ECMOE machine to filter his blood. After 8 days on the machine, one kidney started to work at 50% and the other one never worked. He spent his first 3 months at the University Hospital, Minneapolis.
When he was able to leave the hospital, he had feeding tubes.
The Kidney worked at 50%, until John was 10 yrs old. He had a Kidney Transplant that worked until a few months ago.
Now he is self Dialysis for 8 hours every night. So he can still go to work.
John works at the Bob Cat Factory in Gwinner, ND. John has a twin brother Samuel and sister Reagan.
